St. Thomas Lutheran Church | About Us

WHO WE ARE TODAY

St. Thomas is dedicated to building the community spiritually by living and spreading of the Gospel truth of Jesus' love.  We proclaim the message that alone fits the spiritual need that you have–the message of sin and forgiveness, of peace and hope, which are found at the foot of the cross at Calvary. We invite you in Jesus' name to join us in worship of the Savior!

St. Thomas Lutheran Church and School is also a "learning church."  Young or old, we are all learning how to be Christians in the twenty-first century.  How should we respond to stem cell research, addictions, abortion, euthanasia, poverty, parenting, etc? The answers point to our relationship to God through faith in the life, sacrificial death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Our structured worship services and our Bible fellowship are all in focus with God's Word on living as contemporary Christians.  To learn more about what we believe and teach, click on this link click here What We Believe.

Our Sunday Adults and Sunday Kids offer year-round instruction for most ages, 3 years through adult.  Multiple Bible studies are offered throughout the year at various times.  Audio of Sunday messages are posted on the media page and recordings of Sunday Adults and Worship are provided for the shut-ins and all who request them.

St. Thomas Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, which was founded in 1847 and is one of the three major Lutheran groups in the United States.  To learn more about the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, please click here LCMS website.

From small groups to singing groups, from taking the offering to making the team, we offer and encourage participation in a variety of organizations and activities.
